A cleanroom is a controlled environment where pollutants like dust, airborne microbes and aerosol particles are filtered out in order to provide the cleanest area appropriate for electronics, food, pharmaceutical and medical equipment manufacturing.
Cleanrooms are graded differently depending on the varying particles count and size. The ambient air outside in a typical city environment contains 35,000,000 particles per cubic meter, 0.5 micron and larger in diameter. Ordinary room air is approximately equivalent to ISO 9 cleanroom which is at the lowest level of cleanroom standards.
The key component in a cleanroom is the High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter that is used to trap particles that are 0.3 micron and larger in size. Our employees working in cleanroom also wear coats and other protective covers to trap contaminants that are naturally generated by the skin and body.
Refer to the table below for the range of ISO class. The Wellness Fellows manufactures our masks in an environment 100 times cleaner than a typical enclosed room.
TMF masks are scrutinised by United World Halal Development’s (UNWHD) stringent process to ensure no ethyl alcohol (ethanol), harmful chemicals nor animal derived ingredients are used the manufacturing process that is against the Islamic Shariah Law.
